You've come a long way since moving over to video. I know your still taking stills, but you know what I mean.

Good to see you're properly organised with the slate but have you seen the app for iPad and iPhone called iSlate? It gives you an electronic digital time and the point of 'clap' and is one less piece of kit to carry around. Keep it up.
I've played around with a few slate apps but none of them are loud enough. And it's just easier to use a dry erase slate to update scene/take numbers (as opposed to trying to type on my iPhone/iPad while juggling a million things).
